Stars: 5 out of 5
The first two movies in this series are not only the best movies of their genre, but are some of the best movies of all time. Pixar Animation Studios is the king when it comes to animation, and none of their efforts have disappointed me yet. So it goes without saying that I had high expectations for Toy Story 3. The film began with a funny action sequence that paid homage to the first Toy Story. Then a montage played that showed the Toy's owner, Andy, slowly growing up. It ends with Andy as a Seventeen-year-old teenager about to face college. Andy must figure out what to do with his old toys. So, through a series of mishaps, the toys wind up at a day care center. At first it seems like heaven, where they will get played with every day. But let me just say that it's not all it's cracked up to be. The toys have many adventures in the day care and end up facing a giant trash incinerator. The ending is happy and sentimental, and it parallels the real life reality that nothing will last forever, and we must move on to new things in our life. Let me just say i gave the film a standing ovation. It was the single best film i have seen all year, and heck, maybe of all time. Kids and adults alike will find this movie exciting, funny, and above all just well done. Pixar, you haven't let me down yet!
